5 out of 5 stars - Amazing story from an amazing woman!!!
Seriously could not put it down all day. I had to keep reading. I laughed. I cried. I nodded my head in agreement. I thought “wtf? She just said THAT!” Yup. She did. Don’t read it if you are sensitive to strong language or strong women.
5 out of 5 stars - Strong women, strong stories.
I could not put this book down. Amanda is authentic, intuitive and hilarious. I love how real every story is. The lessons are insightful, and the sarcasm and wit are on point.
5 out of 5 stars - Honest, unflinching, and delightful
This is one of the most honest memoirs I've ever had the pleasure to read. Amanda opens her heart to her readers to share the pain of the divorce that inspired her 2018 road trip around Saskatchewan and the ups and downs of the trip itself. She doesn't shy away from examining difficult situations, and she casts no villain in her story. There are nuggets for those who followed along with the trip as it happened, yet it remains compelling for those who might be new to her story. Her writing style is friendly and inviting (and yup, a little sweary), and if you're willing to be as honest with yourself as Amanda is, you'll definitely get something out of this book.
